Part Twenty Eight - “You are an obsession. You're my obsession.”
Peter leaned against the bark of a tall tree.
He crossed his arms in front of his chest.
Per his usual routine, indubitably.
Titling his head to the side, Peter observed Emma carefully.
She was irritated, aggravated, and annoyed.
Obviously, it was all because of him.
His presence and voice unnerved her, he could tell.
Not to mention the fact that he still had her son.
He smirked. He liked the effect he had on her.
But... she was also fierce, loyal, strong, and determined.
Such fire, he thought.
Emma was slowly becoming an obsession. His obsession.
Well, damn.
