Second all. This country is not becoming "practically" fascist. Regardless of the psychotic administration we have in power, this is still a democratic government no matter how you try to portray it with your knee-jerk liberalism. Consider yourself lucky and realise that the moment you were in a "practically" fascist country you'd wish you could have this country back with all your heart.
we have a democracy, yes, but it's a democracy that is passing these discriminatory bills one by one to the point that we won't have the equality that supposedly defines our country. Hell, there's no way you can say we have total equality now, it's just going to get worse as time goes on. And speaking of knee-jerks... all these bills are knee-jerk conservative reactions to bills like the ones MA and CA passed not so long ago.
Well first of all,I wasn't contesting the abhorrent state of affairs in America right now, I was contesting the frivolous use of the word fascist
( ... )
You haven't seen me when I've been smoking, I'm quite the character. Occasionally, I'll start pretending I'm a French amputee velociraptor or I'll pretend that I'm Yuri on coke ordering falafel.
ok, so you caught me in a spelling mistake. sue me. *coughheroinecough*
and joe, i am not a knee jerk liberalist. i disagree with many liberal ideas. i don't dispute that this is a democracy, but what i meant by that statement was linked to my thought of nazi germany and the "purification" of the population which began with exactly these types of laws.
