Run then Play
Woke up at 6:20am along with my parents and we packed up a bunch of food and water into the SUV. We headed off to my school at 6:50am and met up with the Cross Country team. Had my 5th race today at Folsom High, and my parents drove and went to see me run. It was an invite, so I did pretty bad COMPARED to the other schools from other leagues, but I'll have them come to a league race one time where I actually match up to other people. My time for 5k (3.2miles) was 21:43 at this race. Lame. Not my best, but a little over 7minutes a mile. Good race. We go here 2 more times in the season.
Next up, Divine Mercys Spaghetti Feed. From practicing the other day, we [Vernon, Chris, Vince, MaiMai, Samantha, Melissa and I] got to perform once again. I thought it went very well, and me playing the extended part of Hosanna [For All Those Who Are To Come] NEVER beforehand and on the spot from Chris telling me what to play went pretty well I have to say. It went well and the spaghetti was good. They said there was about 20 different types and I tried most of them. That went late, but it was lots of fun. Got to see a lot of people again and talk with them.
