It's almost Christmas!
The world didn't end yesterday, so that's good.
I'm not a kid anymore, but I still can't help getting a little bit excited. I hope everyone likes their presents!
Went on my staff night out the other week. It wasn't bad at all. We had our meal at Hornblowers, which was very tasty. I chose to have three courses and scoffed the whole lot, as well as a mince pie at the end. Then we headed off to the Harbour Bar, which is just a few steps away from the restaurant. Gillian and I didn't stay very long though. It was absolutely packed, and the band that was playing wasn't up to a great deal, so we grabbed a taxi and headed back to town where we ended up going to one of the pubs for a few drinks. And there was kareoke too. Not that you'd ever get me up there. Fucking hell no. I can not sing. At all.
So that was that. And work has been pretty busy too, with Christmassy preparations and the like.
So now I'm gonna scuttle off, because the Strictly Come dancing Final is about to start! :D
Also! Yay for my workplace. It is officially colder in there that it is outside. Awesome!
