Rally For Equality
Hello everyone,
AGE (Activists for Gay Equality), a new organization at FSU, has organized a Rally for Equality that will take place Friday, November 12. The rally will start at Landis Green on the FSU Campus (in front of Strozier Library) at 2:00 PM. We will then be marching to the Capitol. We plan to be at the Capitol from around 3:30 to 5:00 PM. The purpose of the rally is to express support for gay rights, and in particular same-sex marriage. We have a petition to overturn the DOMA to sign (we've gotten nearly 1000 signatures already!), as well as signs, flags, banners, etc. The rally is co-sponsered by Gentle Shepherd MCC and The Family Tree. I know a lot of people work during the day, but if you can make it out, your support will be much appreciated.
