Change of Plans
Yesterday when I went to the information session for the January nursing program applicants I found out that I will not be able to apply to the program until Spring quarter (March). It's a little complicated, but basically they just changed the rules on which classes have to be taken during which quarters for the pre-requisites, and I just happened to fall into the wrong category. I was very upset about it yesterday, and I am still quite disappointed, but I'm trying to make the best of it. I could use the quarter off to work full time and save money, that's for sure. It's still disappointing to feel like I'm putting everything on hold for a few months, though. Let's just hope that when I do apply in March that I get in on my first try. I'll have to worry about that when the time comes, though.
So, there will be no worrying about the stress of the program for awhile. I'm trying to decide what to do in the meantime. I am leaning toward taking a couple of optional classes so I can remain a student there while I am waiting. Thankfully I have wonderful friends who let me vent frustrations like these, and a beloved with infinite understanding and patience. I am a very lucky girl.
