[Lulu is pacing a muddy line into the field of flowers. If she's bothered by the rain, the only indication might be the way her brow furrows. but then again, it might just be the path her thoughts are leading her down. She's heard the transmission, though she's not quite sure what it means or where it's coming from. She's also seen and heard much of what people have been trying and saying because of it. She turns to her sphere, floating just in front of her, and grabs it by the rim. The wreckage of the spaceship can be seen in the distance, as she talks.]
If we want to make contact, it seems we need to accomplish two things. First, we need to catch their attention. Second, we need to convince them that we aren't just ignorant locals.
The first part seems easy. It looks like we've got that down. [implied in her expression is the idea perhaps people are being a bit too flashy and destructive in their methods]
The problem is going to be convincing them that we aren't a bunch of local lunatics, which means we need to prove that we know something.
What if we tried to repair the ship? Even if it's impossible--[there's an incredibly audible creak interrupting the transmission for just a moment]--even if it's impossible, an honest attempt would prove that we're associated with the wreckage.
Anyone knowledgeable enough about machina repair able to make an attempt?
I don't know anything about machina, but I have other skills that may be of assistance.
[She closes with a demonstration of these skills, a quick thunderbolt to a flower just to the left and front of her sphere. It's a little sloppy--she doesn't have her Moogle with her--but it leaves a smoldering crater where the flower used to be.]
