Date Night

Wednesdays are quickly becoming our day for one on one time at night.

After watching the Bee for a couple of hours, I got ready then headed over to Keeley's. We decided on Chili's for dinner. I ate too much chips and queso and had very little room for my Chicken Caesar Pita. My girlie indulged in a margarita and I think she got a teensy buzz off of it.

We returned to the Savoy for karaoke. It was much busier than last week and the crowd had a different feel to it. Younger for the most part. A little more testerone, too. That would be explained by the construction workers who live at the hotel next door and who were drinking and throwing darts at the bar. We met a couple of them: Greg and Leon. Nice fellows. Both down from Sacramento and are working on San Tomas Expressway, I think. Installing cameras on the stop lights. They'll be out here til November. Luckily they get to go home on the weekends. Upon our arrival we ordered Raspberry Lemon Drops. Not quite what I expected but nummy nevertheless! When we tipped the bartender she told us we didn't have to tip her so much. But we liiiiiiike you, Keeley exclaimed! Even tho she was suffering from a horrible cough Keeley sang Bon Jovi's You Give Love a Bad Name. She rocked my casbah! I think my favorite song of the night was Terry (bartender) and Lisa's rendition of Bright Eyes. They hopped up on the bar and belted it out. They had the whole bar singing along with them. Amanda Amber and Aimee were not in attendance. We both were a little sad for not getting to see them. I guess I'll just have to call them considering Amanda did give me their number with the hopes that we would use it (I hope!). We made it an early night and left by about midnight. Maybe next week we'll close down the bar again! :)

Good Times.
