In other news, I had dinner with my grandma today, and I think she is the greatest lady in the world. I know everyone thinks that about their grandmother probably, but I am convinced I am the only one correct in this thinking. She is 98, turning 99 in august, and she still lives in her own apartment and drives her own car, and backs it into little spots into which there is no way I could maneuver. Of course this doesn't necessarily make her the greatest, but it's pretty cool. However, she is one of the most generous and selfless people I have ever met, and so kind I could never imagine anything bad or angry coming out of her mouth. She also has the unusual ability, I think, for people her age, to be able to put herself in others shoes, and she really doesn't judge. On top of that, she understands the sarcasm that drips from her son's and granddaughter's mouths, and that makes her pretty darn cool.
Oh, that and her hair is full and white. White hair rocks; I hope my hair goes all white when I get old :-)
