How rapidly did the symptoms spread?

I'm sure my experience was not common. I've long suffered from another illness that must've weakened me to the symptoms of the crab bite.

I was light-headed, nauseous and far too tired to do anything for the first two weeks. It only got worse as each day went on. Whether that was from my lack of (enough) food or what, I'm unsure. I fear the illness only would have gotten worse if I hadn't been healed as soon as I was.
