Snowflake Challenge, Day 10

Today's
snowflake_challenge...

In your own space, post a rec for fannish and/or creative resources and spaces. Tell us where you go to dig up canon facts for your fandom, or where you get all the juicy details about your favorite ship. Where do you like to hang out and squee like a squeeing thing?

Fannish resources: I tend to google it or head to Wikipedia if I need to look something up. Or if needs must, I'll rewatch an episode.

Creative resources: Some of this is a copy-paste job from my resource list at
venusresources & venus_resources (which is stickied, btw), but I've added some other resources.

Colouring/PSDs...
* icon_colouring
* selectivecolor
* phonography_x
*
chaoticresources PSD tag

Photoshop Actions...
* Julia Starr (formerly known as night-fate on deviantART. She often provides free PS actions, so you don't always have to spend money. I still have some of her older, now unavailable free actions that I use often.)
* Best Photoshop Tutorials: 25 Color Enhancement Photoshop Actions
* thedreamcolours

Fonts...
* Da Font (free)
* My Fonts (commercial; some foundries deeply discount new font families when they're first released. There are also fonts in some families that are available for free.)
* Font Garden (free + commercial; the latter are super inexpensive!)
* Fonts for Peas (free handwriting fonts)
* Font Squirrel (free)

High-Res Photos and Screencaps...
* Screencapped (lots of different TV shows and films; all capped in 1080p and logo-free, I believe. Useful if you don't want to do your own screencapping.)
* Far Far Away Site (specializes in high-res press photos from various tv shows, plus of the various actors who appear in them)
