I'm so bored and yet, I'm in no mood to pack. Who needs all that crap? I think I'm just going to bring things I can actually remember using/needing/wearing. Given that my memory is a little crappy, that probably won't be much. I'm also not going to go home for the little breaks unless other family is going to be coming. What's the point? All I ever do at home is get yelled at. Nothing I do is right any more, so I may as well save the travel time and spend those breaks at home. It'll be nice to go to the Milan at MIT, and see Marathon Monday for once. And for Thanksgiving, the gang can get together and cook or something. Or we can just go out. I haven't gone back for President's Weekend either year--first year I was sick and camped out in my cousin's living room with a fan pointed at me in 20 degree weather outside. What did I do last year? I think I just hung out t the dorm because my car's insurance was expired so I didn't want to drive, and I think it snowed that weekend to boot...The only reason I went home last Columbus Day was to get the car...you can see how well that turned out. And Thanksgiving...I think some of my cousins came to my house. Well, this year with the blessed baby arriving in October, I think the commotion will be in Boston anyway...so why go home? My cousins and their parents, oh wait. I think my aunt/uncle don't particularly like me that much...maybe I'll just go for a quick day trip. I'm excited to go back because I get to have my little firsties (do you think I can squeeze all 12 of them into my room for meetings?) and no science classes, and Tuesday and Friday mornings off, and there is the gang and the boys and the parties and the booze...Indeed, it will be fun. Maybe I'll go out with a bang this year. Or at least a job to my name. Well, back to S&C...
