Introductory Organismal Biology

Textbook: Campbell & Reece; ‘Biology’, 6th Edition (5th ed. OK)
plus 3 other readings to be assigned (see below)

Final Exam: Exam week (self-scheduled)

Labs: 111-3/LA Tuesday: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
111-3/LB Thursday: 1:00 - 4:30 pm

Our first lab will be Tuesday morning , Sept. 7, in Room 316.
Lab Kits include a Laboratory Manual, plus dissection material to be
distributed later in lab. Manuals should be purchased (dates/times
are posted in the 'BISC 111 Bulletin' conference here on FirstClass).

Grading:
Lecture Exam I 100 points
Lecture Exam II 100 points
Laboratory 200 points
Final 150 points
Total 550 points

Late Policy: Make-up exams will be given only in cases of exceptional personal or medical circumstances; the instructor must be contacted prior to the scheduled exam.
