these things take time
yeah everybody should come to the vox jaguars show on saturday.
it starts at 6pm and is going to be a rager, because we also have el sonido headlining and playing at 7pm. my band is doing good things, we have another show coming up on the 13th as well with new thrill parade (and it is a disco themed dance party). so everyone who likes us should be there. I will give you a cookie out of the tin i have. i am pretty excited for this year at least for the band, because we have been asked to play in Los Angeles with a band by the name of The Monolators. This is really exciting and a whole new opportunity for us. And by march when we play down there, we will have an -EP- recorded with our songs (metropolis, swagger, out of luck, without your holster, make you, non-sense, and frail). Which are all new songs that i really want to record soon at either elliot ortega's house or this guy luke from monday bulletin. But sadly these things take time.....
Besides that great news i had an awesome new years. i had zach gesky's girlfriend lauren use her fake ID to buy us alcohol. And shit the stuff worked it's charms. i met elliot at the 711 on laurel after zach and lauren bought the vodka from the safeway on mission. it was good to see him, and we walked over to the getaway but there were people there. so we just went into santa cruz high and drank. it was incredibly relaxing, and after that we hobbled over to pergs to sit down. I kept telling elliot that we weren't going to walk down pacific, and that was a good decision. When we got to pergs we noticed that it was closed and that everybody was upstairs. So we walked up there with firecrackers in our back pockets which we had set off earlier with zach on several people's doorsteps and on a private beach. Man upstairs at pergs was a mad party. lets just cut to the quick i talked to this girl for a while, and we kissed and that was for awhile. And i didnt get caught that night. Also this new years was the first in which i was kissing someone at midnight and it was bliss. I felt really happy and not depressed as usual. Now though i feel though and i think it is because the girl i was kissing was sick as well. it was completely worth it though.
