Uhh that would be me, Dave. (I thought it was a good variation on the dying with the most toys theme.) Just how my bizarre little mind works. But are you sure you want to credit anything here? Saying something like that may really warrant demerits... :-P
(Actually, the whole demerits theme was on my mind because of your dad having been telling some stories about West Point and demerits and all... and I, having thought the whole system rather ridiculous of course, decided to write a little story about the idea, combining it with the flow-of-consciousness thing.)
