So I joined a gym in November. A) because I grew an ass-hump over the summer and B) Because I get depressed in the winter (helllo, Minnesnowta) and need all the extra, non-slutty endorphins I can get. This means my body has been in pain since around that time.
Uh...isn't this supposed to get easier? I used to work out all the time (OK, the last two years) in college and it was never a problem. Suddenly I hit 25 and and am old? NOT COOL.
But at least the ass hump is gone.
I need to do something different and fun. Any recommendations? Keep in mind my intense shyness around strangers and near paralyzing fear of driving in downtown Minneapolis. I swear, I'm not a bitch, I just assume people don't like me til I earn it. (Which is hilarious when I'm drunk. Seriously. There's video.)
I get my review tomorrow. Rumor has it I was ranked in the top 3 again. Let's hope for more than a 2% raise and shitty bonus. Because mama needs to go SHOPPING.
Oh yeah! I need a shampoo recommendation. I've been using Aveda products for the last year, but I'm not digging the results as much. Anyone know of anything really good? And not $50 a bottle?
