I wish to share with you all one of my most favourite recipes.  This scone recipe has never failed me and they are really delicious.  I've just made some and they smell so goooood. :D~~

EASY-PEASY LEMONADE SCONES

Ingredients:
2 cups of Self-Raising Flour
1/2 cup of cream (preferably thickened, but whipping will do the job too)
2/3 cup of lemonade

Method:
Preheat oven to 180c.
Sift flour into a bowl.  Mix together cream and lemonade, pour into flour.
With a flat-bladed knife, quickly and lightly mix ingredients to a dough.  If mixture is too sloppy/dry, add more flour/liquid.  With your hands, bring dough together (don't spend too much time on it though, or else the scones may not rise).  The dough will be slightly sticky.
Tip dough onto floured surface and, with your hands or a rolling pin, flatten to about 2.5cm thickness.  Cut into rounds and put on tray lined with baking paper.
Brush scone tops with milk and put into oven for about 15 minutes or until golden on top.
Serve with lashings of your favourite jam and whipped cream, and a pot of delicious tea. :D
