Pushing through wormy pasta

Weatherwise, today has been positively nasty (cold, rainy, and especially windy is a prime recipe for icky). Otherwise, today has been fairly average, as far as days go.

There are lots of little unfinished projects that remain conspicuously absent from any to-do list I make lately, which leaves me feeling anxious and quite forgetful. Today, for example, I forgot about my Spanish test until the class directly before Spanish, which led to a brief moment of panic. Luckily, my psychology class is completely useless and I had no qualms whatsoever with using it to study. And I'm fairly certain that I ended up doing well on the test in spite of it all.

We spent most of ceramics listening to The Beatles, which was unexpectedly lovely.

Last night I went to see Vanessa Carlton with Tim and his friend Claire. It was a fantastic show--I enjoy her quite a bit more as a live performer than as a recorded artist. She's seems like a very real person.

Beforehand we bought a sex toy for a friend and had decent Mexican food.

We saw a burning car on the way home and hoped that there was no one inside.
