this entry might qualify as a mini-rant, but it's not. really, it's not. it's more of an observation that now only tickles and amuses me.
i have no patience for passive-aggressive people.
maybe this is because i used to be one, but am generally not one anymore.
passive-aggression is great because it puts the choice of action on the other person, the receiving party.
indeed, the other person or party is forced to decide whether to respond actively and aggressively, or in turn be labelled as passive-aggressive.
so, if the other person hates passive-aggression, then he or she is forced to BE aggressive, and 9 times out of 10, comes off as a complete jerk/bitch.
look, this post is passive-aggressive, and i really don't like it. but i'm not really being given a choice here, and only know to respond in kind. plus i can be a scary scary person.
growing up is learning to deal with situations, and no one ever said it would be easy or fast. growing up is also learning to deal with PEOPLE - and learning to respect their space.
if you have a problem... talk to ME. that would be the non-passive-agressive thing to do.
