Aw, thanks, S. Unfortunately, The Miami Sound Machine is rockin' the cubicle at the moment, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I hadn't written anything here in over a month, and felt kind of dumb making my re-debut with that schlocky piece of nonsense. But then I realized that it doesn't matter even a tiny bit. Plus, I really do hate soft rock.
Here's to more meaningful insights in the near future.
I was utterly inspired to scream 'SOFT ROCK OUT WITH YOUR COCK OUT!' this morning at some, well, people who were listening to soft rock, and then... get this.... I was scared they were going to kick my ass.
Okay, so let's analyze. I am holed up in my house with every blind pulled and Tool blasting out the barely-cracked windows loudly enough to make the air vibrate and also, I am freaked out that the people listening to SOFT ROCK are going to come beat me up. I need to reboot. Also, check this out (not thoroughly, but lightly:)
I read this post and my first response, naturally: Already did. The scary thing is... wait a second, the scary thing is ME....
Getting your ass kicked by soft rockers would be THE LAMEST! Imagine explaining that to the police: "well, I asked them to turn down their Celine Dion CD, and the next thing you know they're beating me like they're goddamn kicking-my-ass-ologist."
Tool sounds like a good musical choice for holing up. If you like to disregard copyright law like I do, I recommend downloading 'Let Go' by Frou Frou. Dumb name, yes, but I heard it last night, and that was the first time in ages that I've been inspired to run over to the CD player to see whose genius I was hearing.
