A one day curse passes through and we all turn into Shakespeare lovers. What a joke. Of course his shit has withstood the test of time, so has a lot of other works. Who actively reads the complete works of Shakespeare around here? Hm? Not many, that's for damn sure.
Know why that stuff lasts? It's content. Same damn themes as every hit parade top ten: love, jealousy, revenge, anger, more love. That's the shit that lasts because it just keeps on coming. What do we know about high art and literature? We don't.
