While I'm annoyed... I'm happy.... let me explain...
So in the beginining it was Barbara doing tag work, my doing payables.
Barbara went on maternity leave, and Leighann came back temporarily to fill in for Barb.
Barb comes back but Leighann stays for a bit doing odds and ends, vacation fill ins etc.
Barb leaves as she has no one to watch the baby.
Leighann gets Barbs job doing tag work.
Leighann becomes pregnant, months go by and then Barb wants to come back.
We fire our receptionist, and Barb does the phones.
Leighann has to go on bed rest at I think it was 7 months. Now we are required to keep her job for 12 weeks or at least something comparable.
Barb fills in and does the phones and the tag work for Leighann.
Leighann has the baby.
We hear from Leighann rarely, then when we ask if she's coming back.. she doesn't know.
Then two weeks, before her 12 weeks is up... She and her husband say that unless she gets more money she's not coming back!!! What the heck is that all about?? That's screwed up is what it is. And work doesn't have to honor it.
Now, we're doing some arranging, and guess what... She's taking my job. Originally they weren't sure where they were going to put me, but they thought Leighann was better suited for my position. (which isn't true, but that's another story)
Now I wasn't there when she talked to our boss, however, the liklihood is that she got the raise she wanted. And THAT is what reallllly es me off.
HOWEVER, aside from all that I found out that I'll be doing human resources, payroll, and learning the other positions in the office. Which is actually a benefit to me because then that'll be more experience for my resume, and a better chance for growing to an office manager.
So yeah while I'm annoyed Im happy for the oppurtunity. It'll be good for the variety of experience.
*sigh* *grin* anyway... That's my drama...
Life is great otherwise. s are marvelous, I just had their fall pictures done and they are just absolutely beautiful. Airyn is a little sassy, but she's just like her mommy. Madison is a comedian, again just like her mother.
