Funs funs funs. And joys. Dominion alive but back to its old venue

Ok, putting all the story here, just to save myself telling and typing in the future.

Yes, some particular places in this country are run by not the most responsible people. That's what we met in Peader Kearney's. The worst part was that i was kinda feeling that it was going to happen at some point. We had been cancelled with no notice before- with only difference that that time the fuckers were stupid enough to put the event's posters all over the venue beforehand. So we dropped in to set up for birthday Dominion and faced the truth the management had no balls to tell us.

A tuesday after that we had a meeting with the management just to find out what the fook is going on and is it something we should get used to from now on. We were assured that Dominion on 25th is 100% sure booked and the only thing we had to do is to advertise the club a bit and make the crowd come early. So we spent the rest of the week advertising-postering-flyering, we even came up with new pricing scheme.
So, on Saturday 25th we were flyering in Temple bar and dropped in to PKs to replace the poster... and to find out that we are cancelled this evening. With no notice at all. It was mere luck that we found it out at 5, notat 9 or 9:30. It was even bigger luck that Dominion's older venue had nothing on this night, so within 4 hours we relocated there. But Alan still had to stay at PK's door almost all night long just in order to redirect people to new/old place.
But hey, we were on, and it was a fun night. All good. The venue is not as fab as PK's was, but at least sound system works, and managers are friendly. And there's good food uupstairs and good Czech beers!

The only thing I can say about PK's is that this is not the way business is done. And this recession does separates professionals from cowboys. I wish the mis-managers of PKs to face the results of their fucking up people repeatedly as soon as possible.
