I love Canada.

For the record, it has finally been settled, we are coming home for Christmas. Both of us. Err.. I guess that means I'm going home and Dan's going on vacation? or something? :D And I want there to be snow, but I don't want it to be SNOWING. Because Christmas without snow is brown. Unless things have REALLY changed.

So I'm still going nuts over fishkeeping - now that I have my 10g tank setup, I'm planning on getting a 55g and my friend wants to give me an old 30g. I can live with that. I asked Dan if he has a limit on the number of tanks I can have, he said 'when the concrete slab starts to crumble, you can't have any more.' So I'm safe, for now. :)

Work is work - spoke with a most interesting guy yesterday who used to be a consumer advocate. He gave me a lot of information about DTV that I was not aware of - this is proof that the consumers who use online fora are more informed than the CSRs I work with. Except one other resolution agent, Daniel, who knows everything and looks like a Viking, albeit average height. No, really, he does! I think I'm going to take pictures of my coworkers, Robin is the young tattooed lady and I bet she'd like some pics of those tats online. We shall see. (She's very cute. Kinda a punk pixie look to her.)

The cats and the family here are all doing well - Linda is recovering in fairly good shape from her heart attack, taking it slow - Dan's restless legs are keeping me up at night and I think I'm going to make him an amputee. Other than that, there's not much to mention.

I'm trying to use my car as collateral to take out a debt consolidation loan - this is not working out to be very easy. According to the tax commissioner's office, my lien holder has my title - however my car is now paid in full and I was not sent a title - I did contact GMAC and they're checking to see if they have the title, if they do they'll be sending it to me. Which will take weeks. I think, once this is done, I'm going to write an FAQ on how to import a car and keep your sanity. This would have been a lot easier if they had actually processed me at the border as they should have - sigh.

So, once again, a big mishmash of updates on my life. Hopefully it's at least minorly coherent :)
