(no subject)
It's one of those days where it took me until 5 o'clock to feel like I wouldn't be horrible company and thus should sequester myself from the entire WORLD! Granted, if my uncle starts up his whistling again I may have to go meditate or something. His existence makes me slightly violent.
That said: I shall shortly shave my legs, and then go buy a teacup. I have been trying to buy a teacup for a month, but all the thrift stores in my dinky town are like, "Single cup and saucer sets? Yeah, thrift stores are the place to buy that sort of thing, but we're no it. And no, we haven't heard of anyone else being it, either," and it has been frustrating.
There used to be this lovely antiques shop next town over, but they moved. Man, that place was awesome. A tiny old lady ran it with her husband, and they were very polite and had great sales. I got my mother a teacup and saucer set from Czechoslovakia (from back before it was the Czec Rebuplic) for about $5.
BUT! I once again have tea-related hope! I will ETA when I return successful.
