I spent my life doing what I had to. Doing what I needed to make sure my family could enjoy success. I don't need you to tell me their resentment of certain matters! Do you not think I had reason to consider that? Just as I had reason to know they would move beyond petty things. That they would be thankful, later in their lives, when all was said and done.
By the heavens, if I had even half the opportunities I provided for them, my life would certainly have turned out better!
