College life at the moment
It's pretty good in Florida. I miss home sometimes, but the feeling passes pretty quickly b/c everyone is always doing something and dragging me to whatever it is. I like that.
I had the first Tri-Beta meeting yesterday. For anyone who doesn't know, that's the bio honor society that I am the secretary of. We're actually planning on doing a lot this year. We're arranging field trips to the aquarium, to go snorkling w/ manatees, autopsy trips, and a revision of the kids fair. I think it will be a fun year.
What else...
Oh! I will be the lab assistant for marine bio. This means I get to go on field trips to the beach and chase critters for class w/ Dr. Tripp. Yay fun! It will beat microlab and making petri dishes. The agar solution can be stinky.
That's it for the moment. I miss everyone lots, and when life settles some more I will call everyone.
