Back to reality
Unk! It was back to work yesterday. I am back at IH again for the summer; it just happened that way. ::Pout::
(Saturday evening, apx. 6:00, the Schnitzlein family is relaxing and enjoying a quiet evening.)
Phone: Ring!
Carla: Hello?
Brian: Hi, Carla!
Carla: Hello, Brian. What can I do for you?
Brian: I need you to work tomorrow at 7.
Carla: Urm... Shouldn't you have called sooner?
Brian: It slipped my mind.
Carla: (sighs) See you at 7, sir.
So, I am employed again by Tweedle-Dee the Wonder Dummy. I worked 9 and a half hours yesterday and am quite sore today. It was good to see everyone, though. Most of the people who were there when I left are still there. Matt, of course, is still there and is becoming a manager come fall. The twins are still there, and I still can't tell them apart. Rui is still there, but has lost much weight. Prep-cook Ryan is still there, but is now waitstff Ryan. Kevin is still there, and we still call him Maria. His sister Michelle and cousin Carla A. are still there. Mary-Jo is still scatter brained as ever. Roberta is there still... and the list goes on and on... I think the only one that left is Mike actually; it'll be odd not having him to bark at me. Ah well! It's always interesting.
In other news, I called the other Ryan and spoke to him for a little last night. I told him I wasn't going to NY, b/c it just didn't make sense to when he'd be home NEXT WEEK! He's gonna be in town on Mother's Day, but to see his mom, and I'm working all day anyhoo. Oy vey.
