So, I need help making a decision on What To Do With Dumbledore.
BTW, both options contain spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Basically, I've got it down to two: 1) What If Dumbledore Had Never Met Grindelwald? In which case, Dumbledore becomes a bartender at the Hog's Head with his brother (since he'd still be taking care of his sister and would probably be sharing caretaker duties with his brother). He'd be a somewhat happy, more earthy man...in a world which would be ruled by Grindelwald. Because Dumbledore would never have been anything more than a bartender, he'd never have gone to fight Grindelwald, and so Grindelwald would have won Europe.
Option 2) DUMBLY TAKES OVER THE WOOOORLD.
Basically, he and Grindelwald go through with their plans and take over Europe. So Dumbledore would be somewhat evil and ruling over a magical dystopia with his even more evil boyfriend.
I was leaning towards Option 1 for the longest time but I'm honestly leaning towards Option 2 now...hmm.
Also, V's is basically: if England never became a dystopia. I'm working on what I want to do with that.
