I don't remember most of my childhood either! They locked me up and did all these experiments and stuck a shunt in my head. Bennet says that's why I am the way I am now. The human body isn't meant to take that much electricity.

I think it's because everyone's selfish, deep down. All we care about is ourselves so we go around hurting other people and not caring about it.

The government locked up anyone that was considered "unclean" in their eyes -- people who were of the wrong race, religion, nationality, sexuality, etc. And they used some of us as test subjects to create biological weapons.

Perhaps. I know many are, but I like to think there is some human charity in at least some of us. Otherwise, we're all lost.
