[V is strolling the rooftops of London once again; this time, the walls seem to be much more vandalized than ever before. On many bricks are V's symbol, spray-painted and scratched and chalked. And there are posters, stark black letters crying 'ALL CITIZENS CAUGHT IN A GUY FAWKES MASK WILL BE ARRESTED IMMEDIATELY'.
In the shadows of one alleyway are a group of people wearing Guy Fawkes masks and wigs, murmuring and chuckling; their voices sound like those of teenagers. They're holding lighters to the corners of the posters, watching them slowly crinkle and burn, when one of them seems to notice V watching them.]
"'ey, it's another one! Come on down, help us burn this shit."
[V shakes his head, but you can hear the sly smile in his voice.]
"Not tonight, I'm afraid."
[He strides away, and it isn't until he's vanished that one voice asks, "Wait, was that him?"]
