Jeez, it has been a while since I last posted. I hope everyone had a fantabulous holiday season and I send warm wishes towards an exciting new year. My year's starting out fairly well. My kendo evaluation turned out better than expected (I advanced to the intermediate class) and I was accepted to George Washington University for fall semester! Yee-haw! Sure, it may not be my first choice, but who am I to complain? Just one more semester at MC and then I'll be on my way! Movin' on up, to the East Side, I finally got a piece of that pie...
Anyway, things have been rather quiet around here. Since school hasn't started, I've been sticking around the house trying to keep myself occupied. (Books to read, rooms to organize, internships to apply to, etc.) No matter how hard I try, boredom always seems to find me. If school doesn't begin soon, I fear I may go mad. I realized I had completely succumbed to cabin fever when I found myself labeling my underwear drawers, classifying my panties by material, color, and occasion of usage. Now, I look at those plastic containers and shutter. God, someone save me from myself.
I know I should take the time to reflect on 2005 and what an incredible year it has been for me, but I feel that one need only look at my scattered journal entries and be content with the idea of '05 being a "good year" for me. In a nutshell, I'll say it was a year of metamorphosis for me. I've changed in both appearance and mindset. I'm a little older, a tad wiser, and much hornier. I'm more comfortable with my body and more keen with my style. However, I believe the most significant change for me involves forgiveness, even going so far as forgiving Texas for being, well, Texas. More seriously, I have learned to be more forgiving of myself. For years, I have belittled my accomplishments and focused on my failures, thus making myself weak and insecure for majority of my life. It was last year that I realized the extent in which I was crippling myself and decided to put an end to that vicious cycle. Though a massive step for me, I still have much road to cover.
So, just look out world, for I feel naughty.
