[Ken's sitting on the playground after school, on one of those merry-go-rounds that got banned from schools because of how dangerous they were.  It's spinning, slowly.  He looks vaguely emo, sitting there alone, but he's not.  He's thinking.  Long and hard, while trying to do his homework and study English.

He's also wearing shorts, despite the cold, and missing his normal uniform so very much.  His hand hasn't left his evoker for more than ten minutes in the days since he got it.
