freezing tofu.

i read on here that one should freeze tofu for about a week.

here's what i don't know:
do you drain the moisture first? or do you leave it as is when freezing?

freezing and thawing tofu changes the texture...but i definitely meant to post this in the vegrecipes community...oops.haha.
