The End!

.....and then he was lost!

Could this maybe be a metaphor....hmmmm???

He feels like a dog who was once loved by his masters...over time the dog unconditionally loved his masters, in the beginning they would play, brush, and shower the dog with love.(Deep down inside they really didn't love the dog itself, they just loved the idea of having a dog.)......then one day, the masters took the dogs unconditional love for granted, they abused the dogs love by thinking it would always be there for them...they realized they didn't have to work for the dogs love, they lost interest. So, they put him in the backyard and completely forgot about him.
Everyday for the dog is spent looking into the house through the sliding glass door...wondering when his masters are going to come out an play with him or even just rub his head. But there isn't any remorse or sadness in the dogs eyes...it is still happy and expecting.
After a few months, one day the dog finally got tired of trying to love, he didn't understand why...all he could do was be himself. It walked slowly around the house with its head slumped down. Once so happy....continued to slowly walk. It came upon the front porch...where, underneath was a nice cool shade from the sun. Slowly, walked under the porch. Laid down underneath to be alone. Its watery eyes, tired, and sad slowly closed........... never to open again...
