[Okay so the punch was kind of unexpected, yes, and so is the bleeding nose-- BUT.
But, hey bird, thank GOD you're grabbing his face because it makes it easier for him to just throw his arms around you and hug the everliving shit out of you.
TRYING NOT TO CRY HIMSELF ACTUALLY. He just huuuuugggggssss.
Also you may or may not sense the lack of purple inside of him, but do what you do, Ankh.]
[Shingo takes a step back as Ankh blows right past him and cracks Eiji in the face, his dark eyes wide and startled. His throat closes as Eiji flings his arms around Ankh and he just watches for a long moment before taking a hesitant step forward, reaching out to touch Ankh's back with light fingertips.]
Ankh.
[His voice is soft and taut, his fingers curling carefully around Ankh's shoulder.]
[After a second of being startled by the hug, he did in fact notice the lack of Greeed ping from Eiji. He remained in blinking confusion until he felt that hand on his shoulder, his head whipping around and glancing at Shingo, eyes widening.
That was the moment his body went stiff. None of this made sense. Shingo can't possibly be there and here at the same time. And Eiji wasn't a greeed...
No, He was pushing out of the hug now, stepping away from both of them and just sort of staring between them.]
[Shingo stared at Ankh for a long, shy second before he stepped in and curled his long arms around Ankh's waist, pulling him in gingerly for a hug of his own. He pressed his face into Ankh's neck, breathing out on a shaking sigh as his whole body relaxed and his arms tightened briefly, his voice soft when he speaks.]
I don't know what's going on either. But... I'm glad to be able to finally do this.
[This felt so weird. This hug right here felt instantly awkward. Not because of Shingo himself, but the fact Ankh couldn't logically process what was going on there. He did want an explanation, but in actuality, he really didn't need one, did he? This outburst of happiness, concern and hugs.
From this hug, after his face twisting up in evident 'do not want', he pushed out of it as well. He gave one more staring before he released his wings once more. Hi eyes moves away from them, searching the ground and surrounding area for some sort of answer other than the one he knew he was getting.
So instead he took to the air and flew away once more.]
[Now seeing that hug kind of tore something inside of Eiji that he wasn't particularly sure what it was. The thought of "Why'd Shingo get to hug him and I don't?" came through his mind before he shook his head and watched Ankh... freak out.
Well that was better. So then as he tried to step forward toward Ankh, suddenly there was a blast of wings and Ankh angrily left the two. Eiji is usually A-OK with Ankh going off like that because Ankh always needed the time to think, it was just how he worked.
Except for some reason, Eiji was slightly mad yet... not at Ankh. Eyebrows furrowing and lips pursing, he stared at Shingo before--]

[Andddd those words were a bit more biting and harsh than he's usually used to.]
[He's still looking at the spot in the distance where Ankh flew off, looking deeply abstracted.]
I must have startled him, I guess. ...Eiji-kun... what did he mean when he said he told you not to leave. [His brow furrows.] How long have you both been here? I don't have any memories of it at all.
I have to find the cat to find the bird before he goes... I dunno, burn small children. Ah, maybe he's with Jack?

It's... really complicated, Shingo-san. Vatheon has kind of become... home and while I don't remember anything about being here when we go back, when I'm here there's a lot of different feelings here.
[He looks a bit hesitant for a second before glancing up to the sky]

So just, please. Keep in mind he doesn't know anything about what happened yet. Especially that he died. The last thing he remembers is... Mezul dying, I think? Or Kazari. Before Gamel, at least. So think of his feelings first. He's terrified out of his mind right now because he didn't want me to go home because of the purple medals.
