Around the Yard and the Neighborhood
Bougainvillea...the joy and bane of the backyard. So beautiful, but those thorns...oy.
Succulents are just so hard to kill. It just makes me want to kiss every single one of them.
A Barbary dove. These guys are natives of Africa, but because people keep them and sometimes set them loose during weddings and the like, there have been escapees and 30 years after the first one was reported in this country, they've pretty much spread everywhere. We have only 1 or 2, but it's interesting because they seem much more skittish and "wild" than our other doves and backyard birds.
More succulent action that you just can't live without.
Forget photos of succlents...Alfie says it's time for a walk...
...and Alfie always gets what she wants. :)
