So I got nothing really accomplished last night even though I had the evening to myself (Fae is currently in IL visiting family so I’m solo for a few days). I had planned on working on my kitchen so it would be usable again but I didn’t get home until after 8pm and my lazy ass didn’t feel like doing anything so I watched Food Network instead. I did clear off our coat hooks that were overloaded with clothes so I can I did get some cleaning done. Yay…I think.
So I weighed myself this morning and with cloths on (shoes, jeans, and everything that adds like 20 lbs…you know the drill) and I’m sitting at 370.6 lbs. Not really the amount I was hoping to see, but since I started drinking sodas again (which I will be stopping again) and eating red meat from time to time I’m not really surprised. I’m thinking I might bust out the gazelle tonight when I get home and get a quick workout in. I might also take Pepper for a walk tonight since neither of us is in good shape and probably would benefit from it. Sounds like an evening plan. ^_^
So I was running late this morning and decided I would pick breakfast on the way to save some time. I opted for the lesser of two evils and got a turkey bacon, egg white, & cheddar sandwich from Starbucks instead of the deep fried chicken biscuit from Chick-Fil-A that I had originally planned. I guess its progress even though neither is a good choice and I should have eaten something at home. Need to manage my time better so I can get a proper breakfast in.
It has been requested that for the potluck celebration I’m going to this weekend I need to make chocolate chip bread which might be incorporated into the ritual as part of cake & ale. Isn’t that just my luck, trying to cut back and eat healthier and I’m asked to make something as sinfully delicious as a chocolate chip bread. Totally not fair. I’m thinking I need to find a healthier version that doesn’t taste like ass. Anyone have any good ideas?
