rain sucks
Day 27:
Alright, sorry i haven't written in awhile but things have been a little crazy. We have been traveling all of Greece by bus, which I now think is my new home...i've slept on a bus, eaten on a bus, and peed on a bus...that makes me think it's my new home, but whatever.
We went to Monemvasia which was amazingly beautiful. It is a little town inside a medieval fortress on the sea. Cars are not able to get into the city and it is so quiet. After a few days it could drive me crazy but two days and one night were just fine. We also briefly went through Sparta but didn't see much of it except for the crazy taxi driver that wouldn't let be buckle my seat belt, didn't allow people to smoke in his cab, and gave the most disgusting belch I have ever heard. thank god he had his window down. The upside, he only charged us three euros where everyone else got charged five...we had three cabs.
I also got really sick when we got back from our little weekend excursion and was pretty much out of commision until yesturday. Apparently I caught the stomach flu that's been going around Greece. What sucks is that i was the only one of the group that caught it. Upside to that, because I was sick I lost two more pounds which I discovered when I went to the gym today.
School work is sucking...I keep forgetting that i am actually going to school while I am here. I have my first paper to write for monday and we are going to be gone all weekend so i have to write it by tomorrow and I really don't want to do it. i don't mind reading and tests cause I can read in my spare time to amuse myself and i like reading but papers just suck cause I actually have to take time out to think about what I have been reading and put it in coherant thought...very hard to do when you drink every night.
So that's about it from this side. Everybody make sure to be good while I'm away...and by the way...when I get back on May 2nd I will be turning 21 on May 12th and there is going to be the biggest drunken bash of the century...i need it to help me forget that i am now old. Anywho, you all better be there or i will hunt you all down.
