I'm scary, like this:
EM: Not like murderer scary, but like teddy bear holding a knife scary, and even though it's not really moving, you keep thinking that it's looking at you and are never quite comfortable around it.
EM: And then your sister takes it away, and the next time you see it it's wearing some of her doll clothing, and you're not sure if she put it on or if it stole the clothes and wore them on its own, which would be really freaky.
y17: ok, now you're scaring me.
EM: Yeah, and then you notice that graham crackers are disappearing without explanation from the cupboard, and you're the only person who eats graham crackers (because everyone else is intolerant of them for some reason). And one day you go to the basement for a soda and there's a huge graham cracker castle.
EM: And the teddy bear is sitting on top of it.
y17: but what did he do with the knife while he made the castle?
EM: Set it aside of course. He doesn't need to hold it when no one's watching.
EM: Yeah. I could continue with his story if you want.
y17: ok
EM: Nah, I'll stop for now. It gets too scary from there.
y17: no!
y17: you can't leave me hanging!
y17: i'll only assume the worst!
EM: No, no I can't.
y17: and then i'll never sleep again!
y17: it will just haunt me wondering what happens
EM: Well, there's a lot of blood, a lot of fur, and two beady, black glass eyes.
