What's the story behind your journal name?:
I saw the word "Venäjä" (the Finnish word for "Russia) on a map of Scandinavia. LJ doesn't take umlauts, so I dropped them, and history was made.
Have you ever had a makeover?:
No.
Have you ever witnessed death?:
No.
What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country, and where?:
One year in Denmark. Or four years in China, but that was before I came here.
One thing you're grateful for, today:
The Internet, of course.
Describe your dream wedding:
Nonexistent. Or, if it has to be, a short simple affair where we pick up the marriage license and spend the rest of the money on a big-ass cake.
What do you want to be doing when you are 60?:
Doing the year 2043 equivalent of chatting on AIM.
What is your first memory?:
My mom buying me a piece of white cake before my first day of kindergarten.
Do you have any weird preferences?:
I'm changing this to "weird things you like". I like donkeys, Dale Gribble, the Kentucky accent, and how people's voices break when they sing bluegrass. I also like how many Texans I have on my LJ list (7/63 = 11%).
