Bible Belt

With all the talk of the Bible Belt, I realized one day that I didn't actually know where it was. Sure, everyone knows it's in the South, but where in the South?

Judging from the visuals, it includes the entire South except for Western Texas, Southern Florida, and Northern Virginia. It also includes two Midwestern states, Kansas and Missouri, and the southern tip of Illinois.

There are also some other interesting Belts. I lived in the Rust Belt, which consists of states that are involved in heavy manufacturing.

Then we have my personal favorites. First, the Grain Belt.

Then the Corn Belt.

And finally, by far the most intriguingly-named Belt, the Jello Belt, which indicates all the areas of concentrated Mormonism.
