I'm trying NaNoWriMo again this year, although my days seem to be just as busy as when I was actually working full time. Doctor's appointments, repair visits for heaters & windows, Sisters in Crime meetings ... we'll see if I actually get the 50,000 words done!
I'm spending the weekend in Columbia, also, at the SCWA StoryFest Conference. They decided on a central location rather than the coast as we've done it for several years in a row. The scenery may leave a good bit to be desired, but the line-up sounds just as good as last year's conference, so...
One more workday before the weekend starts, too. We're going to make a big pot of chili today so we'll have plenty to freeze & to munch on next week.
