I have two interviews in the next week - one tomorrow at 9am that is Zoom and one Monday afternoon live. The second one is the one I really want the job. It's a 7-minute drive from my house, Monday to Friday hours, and a new store so not crazy busy. Tomorrow's interview is with Walmart in Spartanburg, which would be a 40-minute commute and one weekend a month working and a very busy store. I will take that one if I must, but I'd much rather have the new store. I printed out my new resume to take with me!
This weekend is SCWA's Conference at Pawleys Island. It's a long (4.5 hours) drive, but it will be a good weekend with a lot of useful panels, a slushfest, a queryfest, and an open-mic night. They're also doing a "Pop-Up Book Mart" where you can sell or swap your books with the other authors. I'll be home by dinner time Sunday.
