Leaving in a few minutes to head over to the sister's for a late Easter celebration. She just signed up for Paramount+ so we'll likely spend the day watching Star Trek shows. Before I head out, I need to take out a mortgage and fill up my gas tank!
Just got another form rejection for an anthology I submitted to ... sheesh. Well, I guess two "yes" replies is better than none. Maybe I'll have some luck in the future though. At least the Western editor said he "enjoyed the heck out of" my story!
Tomorrow I am spending the day trying to get the unemployment website to accept my sign-on -- or driving to the office in person and trying that approach instead. I also need to swing by the library and maybe hit the gym if I have the energy or motivation. I keep procrastinating on that front. Then they offered me another work day on Friday so yay!
Saturday will be my first solo work day ... wish me luck!
