(no subject)
AC will be out at least until Monday, when the repairman can get out to look at it. I borrowed a portable window AC unit from a friend for the bedroom and have given in and bought one for myself for the downstairs. It's not going to make much of a difference down here since there are no doors to shut off between rooms, but maybe just circulating some cool air will help. I'm going to put it in the window right beside my chair.
Going to have dinner with Jer & Beth tonight since heating up the kitchen by cooking is right out. The roomie is camping out at their house for the duration, so he's got a cool place to stay. I'd go there myself but I'm allergic to their cat and his fur is everywhere! At least the bedroom is cool(ish).
Working on a couple of new stories that I hope will fit into an anthology or two. I sent in one of my sci-fi flash fiction pieces to a third anthology so maybe that will be accepted. I'm also finishing up my last "12 Stories in 12 Months" tale. Hard to believe it's already been a year!
