Got my maple candy. Got my Flat White from Starbucks. Ready to get some short stories down for all those anthologies due in February. There are so many I'm not positive I can even complete all of them by the deadline!
I've finished the fairy tale for "Upon a Once Time" and am working on one about the velyr city-planet for "Triangulation: Habitats." Next up will be "The Wild Hunt" and "Into the Queer New Yonder," as well as "It Gets Even Better" and maybe a collaboration for an anthology called "Joining Forces" (they say they'd love a story with more than one author).
I've counted it up and there are at least ten sci-fi anthologies reading this month, with a deadline at the end of February or the beginning of March. Like I said, not sure I can write something for each of them. However, I'm going to give it the old college try!
