Working on another Western piece ... a short story set mostly at night for a new anthology the Western Fictioneers are putting out. We do this so we don't have to pay massive dues and have a little extra to help with the conferences.
Still down about the writing conference we had to cancel next month, though I totally understand why it was done. I was looking forward to a weekend away from home in a nice hotel, talking to fellow writers and learning something new about the craft. Maybe they'll figure out how to turn it into a video conference.
