Merry Christmas ... a bit Early
My best friend B and his new BF (A) flew in from Albuquerque for a visit on their way down to the coast to revisit B's childhood
Had a great time - dinner at my favorite restaurant Friday night, then hiking at the state park Saturday followed by a long ramble downtown to see the lights and find the Mice on Main (9 little bronze statues scattered around the downtown area). This morning we're meeting for breakfast before they head out - treating A to a real Southern fry-up at our favorite diner-breakfast place. Maybe a short trip to Barnes & Noble to look for a scrapbook for A's Fall Leaf Collection (they don't have many forests in New Mexico).
