So now I'm on the road to recovery with my hip and ankle ... and Bar has torn something in her knee. Evidently she had a horrid experience at the local ER -- they didn't even give her crutches to walk with, just sent her home with some generic "so you have a sore knee" paperwork and a threat she'd need surgery. I have firmly suggested a second opinion with an MRI or CAT scan ...
